FA Logo
There isn't a good selection of logos for people who participate but aren't part of the ranking that the words mean.

Re: FA Logo
Side-note, because I had to refresh Seta on the logos.
As rank climbs it goes through:
"Force"
"With The Force"
to
"I'm One with The Force"

Re: FA Logo
Right, which we don't have to actually stick with either. These are actually rank emblems.
What we don't have is a logo for the FA site overall, or logos for the aspects, or rank emblems for people who are participants and not ranked. This sort of thing.

Marie, we're in the exploration phase right now. You can draft up some ideas, but we're not at the point of anything final.
Re: FA Logo
I think the things I'm looking for are:
1. A Force Academy logo of a resolution for use in web design
2. Emblems for the sorts of categorizes as we have in Discord, such as FA Member (non-affiliated), Aspect Member (one each).
3. Rank emblems: This is going to have to be customizable, as different Aspects may have different ranks, which leads to...
4. All the graphics files required for customization, plus all rights given to the FA for use.
Point #4 is a necessity: I don't know what the site is going to look like in the near future and need to be able to alter it myself, and the site needs to own the design (e.g., no one comes back later and demands we remove chunks of the site because of rights disagreements).
I'd love to see some concept designs before anyone puts in a lot of work on final designs.

Awesome.

Re: FA Logo
Anyone else who has design ideas is perfectly welcome to jump in with them, too. Just making sure people understand where we're at in this before putting in a ton of time on graphics work.

Re: FA Logo
Couldn't see anyone name it but the font name for the current logos is called "Aurebesh"
It's considered the Galactic Standard in the Star Wars franchise.

Re: FA Logo
To keep things from getting too convoluted by having a unique logo for each minute detail;
Well, to be honest having a logo per Aspect as a banner isn't a bad idea. Also well as a neutral/yet-to-be-decided members akin to the arctic looking logo we have.
Color coding could still be viable: individuals presenting certain markers similar to military rank badges/stripes may prove to be a nice concise way to compile one's personal standing might work to keep everyone properly recognized (quickly at that) among the community.
That however depends on what sort of limitations we're looking at icons having in the future.
