A Jedi’s Duty: The Meaning of Service

During this class, you will learn the value of becoming an active member of your community.  You will also be challenged to research a local problem in your area and over the course of your class encouraged to keep a blog of things you learn.  Your instructors will be available to help you research the topic you have chosen and help you find possible solutions.  This study will hopefully cultivate a better appreciation for becoming more than just a volunteer, but a well-educated volunteer.

If you are enrolling in the Bachelor Program, the corresponding workbook is "A Jedi's Duty: The Meaning of Service" by Keith Williams & Alethea Thompson.  Please let us know in the first assignment if you are a Bachelor student.  Each Module in this course corresponds with the Modules set within the workbook for ease of finding where you are in the course.  This workbook is only required for anyone in the Bachelor's Program.
