Hello everyone,

Hello fellow followers of the force,
It is a pleasure to be here and to present myself to the group. First of all, I would like to answer, "Why am I here?" Well, I must say it wasn't my initial objective to look for a Jedi group to join today. I had been looking up books to read about the Jedi Philosophy and its practical application in our lives and I stumbled upon the "Force Academy" from an article that was posted on "The Guardian" blog. I read it through and found the description of the FA very interesting. It seems to be very... balanced. Personally, I feel I have always been a natural student and follower of the force. I have always taken a keen interest in different philosophies, religions, and the ancient histories. I follow a strict personal code in my life and have always looked to the Jedi as my personal heroes. They have always been the "figures" that I could most relate to in my life. As a child I didn't "make believe" I was a super hero , batman, or superman; I always preferred to be a Jedi.
I feel I am living my life in a self sacrificing way, giving of myself to my family, friends and neighbors. I do have a very strong inherent sense of justice. Injustice has always been my personally enemy and the individual actions in my life have always been in defense of justice and truth.
Thank you all, that seems to be what I want to say in this moment.
I am going to go through the rest of the site and would like any information on how to start my studies here.
