In the realms of Astral and Psionic defense I have found that Psionic Gurps used in such RPG games as DnD and others are an invaluable resource for getting creative with Psionic Defense!
Psionic Force Shielding Mind Blank: Attempts to hide the mind from attack, making its parts unidentifiable. This can be achieved by creating a mental projection of an abstract form completely surrounding the mind and can be mentally grown to encompass your whole body so that you are totally shielded. I personally mentally project an image of a mishmash of a broken mirror so that incoming psionic attacks are confused by the configuration and they end up drawing a “Blank” when it comes to them probing and attacking your mind. The fact that the toughtform represents a broken mirror then comes into play as the incoming attack is reflected back.
