The Romans certainly had their faults, but they did come up with some immortal sayings. One of the most prominent is “Mens sana in corpore sano”, or “A sound (literally 'healthy') mind in a sound body”. They were on the right track, but only half right. The human body, as energy healers have long known, has multiple energy centers. It also has at least four energy planes (opinions vary), each overlapping the last. From innermost to outermost, the human body has a physical plane, a mental plane, an emotional plane and a spiritual plane. Each affects the other, and will/thought/prayer influences the spiritual and works its way into the physical, The Jedi often refer to the spiritual plane as “the Force”. I have retrieved some pertinent studies on these topics from the Internet for your reference, including an article on energy healing by Cindi Dale, whom I consider to be one of the leading authorities on the subject:

With that in mind, and at the kind permission of Jedi Master Ally Thompson, I have compiled a survival list for these difficult times as we all face this latest pandemic. Human beings are a social species and the required social distancing can easily grow into depression, anxiety and despair. We Light Jedi especially can feel stagnant and useless as service opportunities grow fewer and fewer. For such lists, I prefer to list what we CAN do rather than what we CANNOT. This tends to give a positive, affirming and empowering feel to possibilities. So in order, here is a template survival list for us to use during this health crisis.
PHYSICAL
I CAN:
- Wear a mask whenever I am out of the house
- Wash my hands frequently, especially after touching anything that has been handled by another
- Use hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes as often as possible
- Get tested if I am in a workplace where there is risk of COVID-19 exposure
- Wash clothes after wearing them outside
- Wipe down gas hose, steering wheel, etc. when filling up gas tank
- Stay six feet apart from others
- Do activities in groups of three or less
- Instead of shaking hands, I can touch elbows or fist bump with others
MENTAL
I CAN:
- Think positively
- Call and/or video-conference friends and family
- Write daily affirmations
- Do craft activities
- Express myself however is right for me
- Learn something new
- Play those computer games I haven't had time for
- Set up a family game night
- Find and watch favorite movies and/or TV shows
- See my family doctor if I think I need medical help
EMOTIONAL
I CAN:
- Follow many of the above suggestions
- Pet my cat or dog as much as possible and/or tolerated
- Develop a hobby
- Pamper myself with a hot bubble bath, a good book, or a special treat
- Color pictures in an adult coloring book or a computer coloring program
- Make up my own list of things that I like to do
SPIRITUAL
I CAN:
- Meditate and/or pray
- Listen to the “still, small voice” within for guidance
- Study whatever writings I consider sacred
- Read the Jedi code and various writings by Jedi
- If I am part of a community of faith, I can watch services by streaming video
- Find ways I can grow personally as a Jedi
- Find and develop whatever Force talents I may have
- Increase awareness of others and of all creation through the Force
