How do you tell what your mid-cholrene count is
Riley
Midichlorians aren't really a thing. This page is for Force Realism, basically meaning that we take the concepts of Star Wars and Jedi and put it into the real world. In a way, the midichlorians are your soul, but there isn't necessarily a way to count them, unless you want to come up with a way to do so and create that concept!

Coulda swore we use ph test kits, don't we? XD
What use would we have of midichlorian counts but to create weird bloodlines/heirarchy based on bloodline? Just seems ripe for abuse if it was a thing. 1 year ago

Yeah we're not into the whole Midi-Chlorinan thing. That separates people into "others", which isn't conducive to a cohesive community

There is a service called Easter vigil that comes once a year in some traditions. I have had the honor of experiencing it a few times. The service begins at a time of day, either at night or early morning, when there is no natural light. The service begins in complete darkness. Then, just one candle is lighted, after which, the priest chants "Christ our Light" and the congregation chants back, "thanks be to God." There is, perhaps, no better example of how the light from just one tiny candle is...There is a service called Easter vigil that comes once a year in some traditions. There is, perhaps, no better example of how the light from just one tiny candle is more powerful than the massiveness of total darkness. That is why I am a Jedi.

For me, it all began with looking up to the SW characters, Obi-Wan Kenobi & Yoda. They were my first examples of what a Jedi was. My childhood was not the easiest, but the hardest either. But when I saw those two characters, it was what I wanted to be. Then in my preteen and teen years, I became involved with Scouting. This was just another way of telling me I am here to help my fellow inhabitants of this world by any means that I can. So I have always felt Jedi. It isn't important to be a Jedi, I just like some of the points made in the philosophy that have merit when utilized in one's daily life.

What are you all reading? I'm currently reading "Beyond the Bridgeless Canyon" by Kathy Baldock. I'm on Part 2 of a 5 book series.

It is interesting... When Roger Williams fled Massachusetts for the land that is now Rhode Island (which he founded as a colony), and
also started the movement that became the first Baptist Church in America in around 1635, one of the founding principles was separation of church and state. How things have changed. 2 years ago
