Questions for the Students

These Questions are for the students.

I know that since the Shadow is resembling a piece of luggage that has yet to be picked up, a lot of you are not receiving the help in your training you came here for.

As we discuss what is the best way to go about helping students who study the force I have brought with me to this training conference an excellent book I have been reading. It is geared towards balance and is a wonderful book to work from when in need to balance your life inside and out.

This book is titled "True Balance" by Sonia Choquette, PH.D It works with the ideas of chakras, or power centers of the body, and what they represent to you. She goes through every aspect of your life showing you how you could be out of balance and how to help yourself fix your imbalance. I highly suggest picking up the book if you have the means but I will be posting the exercises and questions out of it on a daily bases. You can answer and comment on them here or keep them in your journal, it's your choice.

This book also represents that the learning doesn't have to come from this site alone. There are many other sources out there you can bring into this conference to discuss with others. Don't feel shy about it or that what you find can't possible be worth showing. I have found numerous sources for Shadow philosophy, force techniques and other such jewels in libraries and book stores on my daily self-teachings.

The First chapter I am going to post is the chapter of Balance Foundation. This is the chapter on the first chakra called The Root Chakra: Our personal power and well-being originate in the first chakra. This center, situated in the energy field at the base of the tailbone, welcomes our spirit into our body and creates the necessary foundation with which we can begin life's journey. Activated at birth when the umbilical cord is cut, it channels the life force into our physical body, concentrating it's flow on the area from the tailbone down through the feet, helping us establish our footing and take our place in the world. The moment we are born, we are released from our mother's support system and simultaneously hooked into this spiritual source of supply. It establishes our personal access to all that we need in order to survive and grow, providing us with a basic sense of security and safety. It empowers us with the intuitive understanding that we are children of the universe with the right to grow into our fullest expression in this lifetime. On the color spectrum, this chakra vibrates energetically to the color red...

When our first chakra is balanced, our foundation becomes rooted. This first chakra 's primary function is to assist us in meeting our basic needs for survival gracefully and with ease. Balanced it allows us to intuitively trust that no matter where we find ourselves, life will be generous in offering us endless opportunities with which to meet our basic needs.

The first of the questions is to assess your own foundation:

Are you confident in knowing you will have all that you need?

Do you ever worry about your survival?

Can you say that you feel grounded?

Do you know anyone who is grounded?

How would you describe the energy of a grounded person?

Feel free to answer these questions privately or on this thread. I will share more about this subject to help with your learning tomorrow. Good night all.

Give me a day or two and I will have a reply on this posted. Looking at this idea from the more European systems rather then the Oriental and Hindu Chakra version. But of course the thing is that when you look at both the eastern and western systems such as the seven major Chakras and the nine elements of the Duile you begin to see some rather distinct similarities.

Well here goes...

>Are you confident in knowing >you will have all that you >need?

Most of the time I am. Like when I go to buy something if its not there my attitude is more like "well its no big deal I don't really need it" Most of the things I NEED are supplied by my parents so its no real threat of needs there either.

>Do you ever worry about your >survival?

Again most of the things are supplied by my parents so I really don't dwell on survival very much if ever.

>Can you say that you feel >grounded?

I'm not positive on what feeling grounded is like but from what I know I could say I'm grounded. Although it does vary day to day some days I might not be but most of the time I would say I am. I'm usually not anxious of excited. Mostly calm and patience...mostly.

>Do you know anyone who is >grounded? I think I could probably name a few people I know who are grounded.

>How would you describe the >energy of a grounded person?

Again not sure exactly on what it is but people who I think are grounded are just calm and patient whatever will be will be kind of attitude. That's my view and I could be totally wrong with all of this but its what i think right now : ) Thanks.

Very excellent answers Jes. The first two were meant if you were living on your own and I would like to make a revision to those questions. For all those not living on their own I would like them answer that question in a future tense. Would you think that in the future you would be able to support yourself? and etc. This will allow both you and us to view your confidense and understanding of yourself.

The fact that you mentioned you didn't quite understand what it is like to be grounded is understandable. Usually it is a fleeting feeling much as you described what a grounded person feels like. Hopefully I can get Shinobi to make a post on being grounded, I believe he could describe it better than I. Very good observation Jes. There is another post on this subject below if you care to take on those questions.

Would you think >that in the future you would >be able to support yourself? >and etc.

Well that makes a bit more sense. I have worried about this a few times. I think to myself "I have no idea what I want to be in life whats going to happen OH NO!" then I kind of think it will all fall in to place eventually and its not like I'm just am sitting around I do things I have hobbies and likes and dislikes so I haven;t found my niche is no big deal I decided eventually. I'll try and tackle the other questions as well.

Can any person perceive anything beyond personal perspective? I think not. We touch upon the absolute with our subjectively-gloved palms, processing it into our own reality through nerve-channels and neuron arrays. This is the paradox of subjective co-existence. On the one hand, we and all things are interconnected... tied to
