To those in Shadow explorers, what impelled you to join?

I've always been drawn to balance but also have come to understand that the dark force is not always as it seems. Trauma begets trauma and in order to break the cycle, one has to stop running and learn to let it flow. Fighting is not always the answer but often an instinctual response. It often fuels dark forces rather than bring them in balance. Both Light and Dark have a purpose and understanding of both is key to harmony.

To me it is a matter of knowing all aspects of people and of the force. To arm myself with knowledge of the known and unknown. To better understand myself and calm myself down with more tools in my mental toolbox. The better well rounded.
