To those in Shadow explorers, what impelled you to join?

I can only answer for myself; I'm familiar with some of the people associated with the LA and DA, getting to know the folks in the SA seemed to be a good idea. Plus, it's nice to explore different ideas.

I've always been drawn to balance but also have come to understand that the dark force is not always as it seems. Trauma begets trauma and in order to break the cycle, one has to stop running and learn to let it flow. Fighting is not always the answer but often an instinctual response. It often fuels dark forces rather than bring them in balance. Both Light and Dark have a purpose and understanding of both is key to harmony.
