Normal

What is normal? What is odd? Why do people care so much if other people or themselves are normal or not?

For me I try to be as different as I can(I don't know why) I guess for be being different is normal. : )

Jes Ree

The classic answer would simply be to say that they are simply perspective. Normal is that which a person or a society has come to accept as the known standard, odd is anything that doesn't fit in. I can say though that I have turned the normal odd into a paradoxical idea, allow me to try and explain. Everyone in society is different, or odd if you wish to say so. But yet society accepts that as the normal. So it is normal to be odd.

An interesting parallel can be drawn with the classifications of natural and supernatural. Natural has become that which the scientific community has accepted as being normal, that which they can explain to a sufficient level using their logic. The supernatural is anything which they don't accept, either because they don't believe the evidence or cannot find an explanation reasonable to them. So the point being? Well what separates natural from supernatural...the normal from the odd? It is nothing more than acceptance of a standard. I could go on listing example after example, such as the position of the start menu on my computer...I have it at the top of the screen which is normal to me but odd to everyone else, but I have gotten used to it. Think of a few more examples, think of as many of you can and if you find any that can't be explained in this manner please let me know.

Take Care and be mindful.

Want to be different huh? I think we all want to be different. Raised up on the sense of individuality...to be recognized perhaps? Deep down..if you are different, people notice you yes? So using the transitive property from math (don't ask), if you want to be different, you want people to notice you and acknowledge. Here's the mind boggling question that can be answered for hours upon hours.

Being different to make a point and being different just for the sake of being so, are not the same. Which are you?

(See links below for alternate translations) The Ineffable The Force- The Force is a loosely adapted term to explain something which all cultures agree exists, but disagree on exactly what it is. As such, a Jedi dedicates themselves to an understanding of all things within and through the Force. As a rule, no Jedi can set down in law a concrete definition of the Force for all to follow, only for themselves. Core Ethics Loyalty to the Jedi Code- This has a few different variants depending on what order a Jedi attends. A Jedi is bound by the code. By maintaining your loyalty to the code, you are able to keep your actions in check through the moral integrity of the Jedi Path outlined in the Jedi Code. It is important that a Jedi checks their own version of the code against the original codes…
