Grouping vs. Accomplishing

I look around and I see so many people, especially around here, who want to do good things and make the world, and people in general, better. There are so many people who have so much knowledge and really do get so much done, but then I look around and see that even the people doing good things have barriers up between them, barriers which, in different situations, are the things causing all of the problems that need to be fixed. What if we really started putting the acceptance and cooperation we try to spread into our own workings. Why do I look around here and see so many different divisions of people who are basically working for the same thing, but they still divide from those who aren't quite the same. We divide even within our own groups, but for what real reason? Right now the council is trying to decide what label to put on me. They can't put a standard one on because I'm not standard, I'm different. What does it matter who's different from who? I only see one thing that needs to agree, the goal. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that most everyone who is in this group of shadow would take any opportunity they see to help other people and to make the world better. The lightsiders all work for a similar reason. Why do we need all of it divided? Ok, it makes training easier to have people training people who're like them, but don't you learn more by searching around and learning from various different people before you can find the person who is like you? What does it matter if one person believes something should be done this way, while another believes a different way, if both ways are for the same reason? Why can we not cooperate and plan things together? Without accepting unity there is very little chance that anyone here will be able to do anything large to make a difference. One person is a very small force compared to the number of people in this world. How is anything ever won when it's up against a very difficult situation? Even enemies can work together without complaining if the cause is the same, so why can't the people who're trying to build a safer world work together, we're friends, not enemies. Isn't acceptance one major part? Why can't we accept working with others who're different from us?

There is probably much more I could say here, but I believe I have said enough to be pondered. I think about those types of things a lot and, since the board isn't extremely active anyway, figured that it'd be a good thing for everyone to think about and respond to.

(See links below for alternate translations) The Ineffable The Force- The Force is a loosely adapted term to explain something which all cultures agree exists, but disagree on exactly what it is. As such, a Jedi dedicates themselves to an understanding of all things within and through the Force. As a rule, no Jedi can set down in law a concrete definition of the Force for all to follow, only for themselves. Core Ethics Loyalty to the Jedi Code- This has a few different variants depending on what order a Jedi attends. A Jedi is bound by the code. By maintaining your loyalty to the code, you are able to keep your actions in check through the moral integrity of the Jedi Path outlined in the Jedi Code. It is important that a Jedi checks their own version of the code against the original codes…
